MCP Integration

Vibe Kanban supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP), allowing you to connect MCP clients like Claude Desktop to create tasks and extend your workflow.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a standard protocol for connecting AI assistants to external tools and resources. Vibe Kanban works with MCP in two ways:

  1. MCP Server: Vibe Kanban exposes an MCP server that you can connect to from MCP clients
  2. MCP Client: You can connect MCP servers to your coding agents to give them access to external resources
